Sandwich panels
Elematic sandwich façades deliver many benefits
- Variety of appearances for outer layers
- Accurate details and connections
- Efficient production technology
- Faster installation on site
Definition Sandwich panels consist of two concrete leaves with an insulation layer in between.
Description The external leaf is usually of architectural concrete, i.e. of a material intended to contribute to the architectural effect of the façade, while the internal leaf is in grey concrete. Yet there are many variations in this basic set up. For example, Elematic now offers a new type façade with an air void between the external leaf and the insulation, causing the evaporation of any seeping water or condensation that has penetrated.
